Why do I want to wear an open back dress?
This is one question that many girls ask themselves and others should really start thinking about. What is the reason you want to wear an open back dress? I want to wear an open back dress because:

I want to impress a new guy I’m getting introduced to.
This is an exciting moment for everyone; the good old “first impression.” Just about everyone that I know gets the butterflies in this situation. So, here comes the big question… WHAT TO WEAR?!?! Well, there are several things to keep in mind when picking an open back dress. The first is, do you feel comfortable? And not just with the dress, but more important with yourself in the dress. Remember you’re possibly going to already be nervous with making a first impression. You want to know and feel that you are confident about the way you look. So, are you comfortable?
Next, you want to ask yourself, "what message do I want to portray to the new guy?" Believe it or not ladies, the dress talks to a man. You may think that you just look good or cute, but every guy is trying to read your advertisement, so make sure you’re not putting any ads out there that you really didn’t mean.
Now, there are different types of open back dresses out there and they all send a different message to the guy. The question is, “what is the message that you want to send?” Keep in mind that the two of you are being introduced and he is not just hitting on you (BIG difference).

Girl: I’m very confident. I was told all about you and I liked what I heard. I'm ready to party!! What do you think?
Guy: Man, I’m getting some tonight!!
· The cocktail dress
Girl: I am confident and like being looked at, but watch my nails I just got them done.
Guy: If I play my cards right I might land.
· The clubbing dress
Girl: You can peak just a bit, but I’m still a lady.
Guy: She looks good, and fun.
· The formal dress
Girl: I’m older, and looking for a relationship.
Guy: She looks good.
· The weeknight dress
Girl: I just want to look cute.
Guy: She’s cute.
· The picknic dress
Girl: I want to be comfortable, but still look cute.
Guy: She’s cute.
